Every year, I attempt to do the Yorkshire Three Peaks (a 23-mile walking route) with my dad and his friends. This song is a combination of all those experiences, including the time I learned about the logistics of selling Christmas trees for a living. The wordless chorus is an attempt to capture the joy I felt when descending from the 2nd peak during a lovely sunset, with nobody else around. I hadn't taken headphones with me, so I tied a scarf around my head and used my chin to separate the left and right speakers on my phone, then listened to Kate Bush with a surprising amount of stereo width.
